Product Description

Chemical structure of Winstrol Max Pro

Winstrol Max Pro – anabolic, is an altered form of dihydrotestosterone. There are several differences:

  1. the addition of a methyl group in the 17-alpha position to protect the drug against oral metabolism; and
  2. the replacement of the usual 3-keto group with a pyrazole group, the drug becomes a heterocyclic steroid (17b-hydroxy-17-methyl-5a androstano [3,2-c] pyrazole).

This change significantly affects the increase in the anabolic force of the steroid, while reducing its androgenicity. Stanozolol is much less similar to androgen stronger workout receptors than with testosterone and dihydrotestosterone. At the same time, it has a longer half-life and lower ability to bind with blood proteins. Stanazolol is classified as anabolic steroids. It has one of the biggest differences between anabolic and androgenic effects among all steroids sold on the market, it does not aromatize. As a result of studies conducted recently, it became known that the main mechanism of action of the drug involves interaction with cellular and androgen receptors. There is no full explanation, but sWinstrol Max Pro has some unique ability to antagonize progesterone receptors, inhibits the binding of glucocorticosteroids to their receptors. But for the manifestation of these doses of therapeutic doses is not enough. In addition, it inhibits the binding proteins of the blood. In one study, 25 men showed a 48.4% reduction in the level of SHBG, at a dose of 0.2 mg per kilogram of weight, that is, 18 mg per person weighing 90 kg. Binding proteins, such as SHBG, can limit the activity of steroids in the body and reduce the percentage of active substance in the blood. The combined oral administration of stanozolol with another, binding steroid may result in an increase in the amount of free steroid in the blood.

Historical reference

Winstrol Max Pro was first described in 1959/84. Developed by Winthrop Laboratories in the UK. The parent company (Sterling) applied for a US patent for this drug in 1961/85. Winstrol Max Pro officially appeared on the US market as a prescription drug in 1962 called Winstrol. Winstrol Max Pro was first described as a drug for general medical use, including to increase appetite and muscle growth in cases of weight loss associated with many malignant and benign diseases, preserve bone mass in osteoporosis, promote linear growth in children with growth deficiency. And also as anti-catabolic with prolonged therapy with corticosteroids or for postoperative and post-traumatic (burns, fractures) therapy in patients, and even for the treatment of weakness in the elderly. The FDA increased control over the market for prescription drugs in the mid-1970s, and soon reduced the guidelines for Winstrol’s use. At this time, the FDA officially supported the fact that Winstrol is probably effective as an adjunctive therapy in the treatment of osteoporosis, to stimulate growth in the pituitary gland with dwarf deficiency growth. Thus, Winthrop got more time to sell and study Winstrol Max Pro. Winthrop constantly satisfied the interest of the FDA regarding Winstrol as a therapeutic agent, the drug remained in the US throughout the 1980s and 1990s, while many other anabolic steroids disappeared from the market. Stanozolol has shown some improvements in the concentration of red blood cells, the fight against breast cancer, and (a little later) the treatment of Quincke’s edema, a disease in which swelling of the subcutaneous tissue occurs, often with hereditary causes. Winthrop underwent some corporate changes throughout the 1990s, including through merging with Elf Sanofi in 1991, which formed Sanofi Winthrop. Sanofi Winthrop continued to sell Winstrol in the US for about another 10 years before finally stopping production due to “production problems” (in fact, Searle, which produced the product for Sanofi at the time, unexpectedly at one point ceased its production). In 2003, the rights to Winstrol were officially transferred to Ovation Pharmaceuticals. Winstrol continues to be an approved drug in the US pharmaceutical market, but it is no longer produced by Ovation. All kinds of Winstrol can not now be bought in the US, despite the fact that the drug can still be found in Spain. Many other brands and forms of the drug continue to be produced in other countries, both for humans and animals.
